Easy Fall Simmer Pot Recipes

There is truly nothing more cozy than the smell of fall! These fall simmer pot recipes are perfect for a cheap and all-natural way to freshen up your home.

These recipes just need 5 simple ingredients! All you have to do is slice the fruit, dump the ingredients in a pot, add water, and simmer all day for a crisp fall aroma.

We’ve got three different scents for you to try and the instructions on how to make the pot below!

Cranberry & Orange Scent

  • 1 Bag of Cranberries
  • 2 Oranges, Sliced
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 Tablespoon Whole Cloves
  • 2 Teaspoons Ground Nutmeg

Pumpkin Spice Scent

  • 2 cups Apple Cider
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Spice Seasoning

Apple Cinnamon Scent

  • 2-3 apples, sliced
  • 4 Cinnamon sticks
  • 8 Anise stars
  • 1 Tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make the Simmer Pot:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a pot.
  2. Fill the pot a little over halfway with water.
  3. Bring the pot to a boil on the stovetop and then let it simmer! (Add more water as needed throughout the day)

Note: If you want to reuse the pot one more time, simply let it cool, drain the water, cover, and refrigerate.
