There is truly nothing more cozy than the smell of fall! These fall simmer pot recipes are perfect for a cheap and all-natural way to freshen up your home.
These recipes just need 5 simple ingredients! All you have to do is slice the fruit, dump the ingredients in a pot, add water, and simmer all day for a crisp fall aroma.
We’ve got three different scents for you to try and the instructions on how to make the pot below!
Cranberry & Orange Scent
- 1 Bag of Cranberries
- 2 Oranges, Sliced
- 3 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 Tablespoon Whole Cloves
- 2 Teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
Pumpkin Spice Scent
- 2 cups Apple Cider
- 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
- 3 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Spice Seasoning
Apple Cinnamon Scent
- 2-3 apples, sliced
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 8 Anise stars
- 1 Tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
How to Make the Simmer Pot:
- Add all of the ingredients to a pot.
- Fill the pot a little over halfway with water.
- Bring the pot to a boil on the stovetop and then let it simmer! (Add more water as needed throughout the day)
Note: If you want to reuse the pot one more time, simply let it cool, drain the water, cover, and refrigerate.
