Who doesn’t love a tasty on-the-go breakfast sandwich?! These Maple English Muffins are seriously so delicious and easy to prep ahead.

Maple English Muffin
Ingredients
- 6 English muffins
- 6 sausage patties (cooked or precooked)
- 6 slices colby jack cheese
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 6 individual aluminum foil pieces
Instructions
PREPPING:
1. Cook sausage patties if you need to and set them on a paper towel to cool and absorb grease! If precooked your do not need to heat it up.
2. Mix 1/3 cup of mayo with 2 tbsp maple syrup in a small bowl and set aside.
3. Lay out aluminum foil first, then add all the English muffins.
4. Add the mayo mixture to one side of the English muffin then put the sausage down on top of that. Finally, add a piece of cheese and top with the top of the English muffin.
5. Wrap each sandwich in aluminum foil then put them in a gallon-sized freezer bag and freeze.
REHEAT
6. Take off the aluminum foil and microwave for 1-2 minutes until cooked through and enjoy!

Dairy-Free Alternative:
Use your favorite dairy-free sliced cheese!
Gluten-Free Alternative:
Feel free to use your favorite Gluten-free roll or English muffin if you can find one!

Is there direction on how to add the egg like the picture?

Oh so sorry about that! If you'd like to add egg then you'll need to mix 8 eggs with 1/4 cup of milk and add to a sheet pan and bake at 350F for 15-18 minutes. Once they are cooled you can cut the eggs into 6 pieces and add to sandwiches.
