  • 1 1/2 lb Chuck roast
  • 1/2 Small pear
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 3 clove Minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Ground ginger

NOT IN BAG:

  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 bag Coleslaw or chopped cabbage
  • 12 Tortillas
  • 2 Sliced green onions
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

    PREPARING:

Cut meat into thin strips, to make this even easier you can cut it from frozen! Put in bag.

Peel a pear and use 1/2 for this dish. Chop it as small as possible, grate, or use a food chopper/food processor and put in bags.

Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ground ginger into the bag and seal!

    COOKING:

Thaw bag or cook from frozen!

Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil then dump into Instant Pot and cook on manual/pressure cook for 15 minutes and do a 10-minute natural release.

Place meat on 12 tortillas, top with 1 bag coleslaw or chopped cabbage, 2 green onions, 1 tsp sesame seeds, and enjoy

Notes

GLUTEN ALTERNATIVE:

-Swap the soy sauce for coconut aminos or tamari and enjoy!

CROCKPOT ALTERNATIVES:

-Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

STOVETOP ALTERNATIVE:

-This recipe is very easy to just throw in the skillet! If you choose this method cook it on medium to high heat until the meat is tender and cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Yes! For the crockpot cook on low for 6-8 hours. Or you can cook on the stovetop on medium to high heat until the meat is tender and cooked through, about 5 minutes:)
