Egg Roll in a Bowl

Egg Roll in a Bowl

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 Onion Diced
  • 1/2 cup Carrots Grated
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Not In Bag:
  • 16 oz. Coleslaw mix
  • 2 Green Onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil

    1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground meat and cook, stirring, until no longer pink.

    2. Drain and let cool before you add to the bag.

    3. Dice onion and add to the bag.

    4. Add all remaining ingredients except coleslaw mix and green onions and sesame oil to the bag. Seal and freeze.

1. This recipe can be cooked from frozen or thawed! Get a large skillet and add sesame oil. If still frozen dump the contents of the bag in first and get it broken up.

2. Add bag of coleslaw mix to the pan and mix together. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mix is a bit wilted.
3. Top with green onions and enjoy!

Freezer Prep Tip: If you pre-cook ground beef before freezing it helps to keep the texture and flavor! Plus, you can drain out the grease before adding it to the bag to avoid too much grease when cooking later.
